A 43-year-old man who went missing when snorkeling on Saturday was found dead on South Bay Beach Monday morning.

It is said that he worked for Independent Commission Against Corruption and had many years of snorkeling experience.

The police received a report at about 7.30am Monday that a body was found in a shark net at South Bay Beach in Repulse Bay with snorkeling equipment, including swimming fins and goggles.

The police later contacted the family of the missing man to identify the body.

He was at South Bay with his wife and daughter at 4pm on Saturday and went snorkeling alone.

His wife and daughter stayed until evening. When he still didn’t return, they called the police.

Rescue workers have searched the area for days before finding the body.
