This aquarium is home to more than 1,000 exotic animals including a two-toed sloth, 400 axolotls, and four Asian small-clawed otters.
The animals that live at SeaQuest come from five continents, making you feel like you’ve traveled all around the world. You’ll love walking around and admiring each and every creature.
But what makes this aquarium truly one of a kind is all of the hands-on activities that allow you to interact and learn with each and every animal.
There are several interaction options available at SeaQuest, providing opportunities to get up close with certain animals. For example, you can spend time with an African Crested Porcupine or experience fishy kisses, where you will dip your feet into a tank of fish that feed on and remove dead skin cells.
You can even snorkel with stingrays if you are up for a more unique experience.
During this interaction, you will have one hour to swim with stingrays. The waters are kept between 70 to 76 degrees Fahrenheit and the aquarium will provide a wetsuit and snorkeling gear. Keep in mind that for many of these interactions, there is an additional fee and you will need to make reservations online.
