Hawaii Fire Department divers recovered clothes and diving equipment in the waters near a buoy that were identified as Delatorre’s and say damage to the clothes may have been done

Police say 45-year-old Alan Delatorre of Kailua-Kona, reported as missing after failing to return from a solo night dive Oct. 4, is still missing.

Hawaii Fire Department divers recovered clothes and diving equipment in the waters near a buoy that were identified as Delatorre’s and say damage to the clothes may have been done by sharks.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
