City Hire takes delivery of 10 Snorkel S3010P mini scissor lifts

City Hire has expanded its fleet with the addition of ten Snorkel S3010P push-around scissor lifts.

Delivered by Snorkel UK in early November, the ten Snorkel S3010P push-around mini scissor lifts join City Hire’s expansive low level access offering. With a maximum working height of 5.0m and a lift capacity of 240kg, yet weighing just 370kg, the S3010P delivers a safe and productive low-level working at height solution. They are particularly well suited to multi-storey building construction, fit-out and maintenance, as they can be carried in a passenger elevator.

Servicing contractors in London and the South East, City Hire is a regional tool and access hire company. Laurie Bedford, purchasing manager at City Hire, said, “Snorkel have supported us with quality, reliable machines and an excellent after sales service offering with spare parts. Snorkel are a reputable brand and we can be assured that our customers are getting safe and reliable machines on their site.”

The order was taken by Scott Holtby, area sales manager, at Snorkel UK, with the units built at Snorkel’s UK manufacturing facility in Washington, Tyne and Wear.

Andrew Fishburn, managing director of Snorkel UK, said, “We are very grateful to City Hire for choosing to add our Snorkel S3010P models to their offering. These lifts are built to perform, even in heavy duty construction environments, and we are confident they will be a big hit with their contractor customer base. As always, it is great to see UK hire companies supporting UK manufacturers, and we look forward to working with City Hire in future.”
