PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL — (WTVY) A Georgia man is dead after he was last seen snorkeling in the Gulf.
Bay County Sheriff’s officials say they got a call just before 3 Wednesday afternoon saying Rick Corell, 61, went snorkeling near the Regency Towers on Thomas Drive.
Officials say his family was concerned because they hadn’t seen him in about an hour.
Deputies responded and found Corell about 200 yards out.
Corell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Double red flags were flying at the time of the incident.
