SENECA ROCKS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Snorkeling enthusiasts and nature lovers have a unique opportunity to explore the underwater wonders of Seneca Rocks every Thursday until September 14.

This free snorkeling event, organized by the USDA Forest Service, invites participants to discover the aquatic beauty of the area while providing all necessary snorkeling equipment.

The snorkeling excursions take place from 2:30 to 4 pm, providing ample time to explore the underwater world of Seneca Rocks.

To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, advanced registration is required. Interested individuals are encouraged to email mary-amanda.harmon@usda.gov to secure their spot.

All necessary snorkeling equipment will be provided on-site, alleviating the need for participants to bring their own gear. However, it is recommended that attendees wear closed-toe water shoes to ensure comfort and safety throughout the activity.

While the snorkeling event offers an exciting adventure, safety remains a top priority. Children aged six and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Additionally, youth masks are available for participants between the ages of four and sixteen, ensuring a suitable fit for young explorers.
